From the 19th to 26th of May, trainees from universities in the six countries participating in the ongoing digital skills training for online learning (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Rwanda, and Burundi) were taught on various elements of electronic resources including search strategies, concepts and types of electronic resources, referencing tools, and ethical usage of electronic resources, among other areas. This was after a training on on how to utilize digital technology to enhance efficiency and productivity while reducing paperwork. The participants were also supported in developing a SMART roadmap for digitalizing their institutions.
