Dr. Anne Wambugu, a faculty member of the Psychology Department, was recognized and awarded by the Kenya Counselling and Psychological Association (KCPA) for her contributions to the establishment of Postgraduate Marriage and Family Therapy Curricula and for developing outstanding Marriage and Family Therapists.

She received the award at the International Scientific Conference on Suicide Prevention, which was held at Daystar University on October 23, 2024.

Dr. Wambugu is an accomplished lecturer and practitioner in the Counselling Psychology field, with a significant impact in Kenya and beyond.
