VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Pan Africa Christian University, a Chartered Private University, is seeking to fill the position outlined below from suitable candidates. Applicants must be born-again Christians and active members of a local Church.

1. Position Title: Registrar Finance (OPEN)

The Registrar Finance leads strategic fiscal planning, financial oversight, and accounting operations across the University. This role provides financial governance, operational leadership, and manages critical stakeholder relations. The position reports to the Vice Chancellor.

Minimum Requirements

- - Earned Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or a closely related field.
  - Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or equivalent professional certification in good standing. A PhD in Finance or a closely related field is an added advantage.
  - A minimum of 10 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (preferably within higher education).
  - Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, exceptional strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and high emotional intelligence.
  - Strong Interpersonal and negotiation skills
  - Membership of a relevant professional body/institution.
  - Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership, fiscal planning, oversight, and management of all institutional financial and accounting operations.
- Oversee the preparation, consolidation, execution, and monitoring of the annual institutional budget.
- Maintain accurate, complete financial records and prepare statements complying with IFRS and IPSAS frameworks.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, analyses, and briefs to the Board and Management.
- Design, implement, and review internal control systems to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to the financial and accounting department staff.
- Drive the digitalization and automation of university financial systems, including ERP implementation.
- Lead the development, review, implementation, and enforcement of financial policies, processes, and procedures.

1. Position Title: Personal Assistant – Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs (CLOSED)

To provide administrative support to the Deputy Vice Chancellor-Academic Affairs in fulfillment and execution of duties to ensure efficient management of Office. The PA is expected to operate and perform to the highest professional standards, with diversified secretarial and administrative duties using initiative and judgment, high level organizational skills and knowledge.

Minimum Requirements

- An earned Master’s Degree in Administration, Public Relations or any other related field. A Diploma in IT and secretarial studies will be an added advantage;
- At least 5 years professional experience providing high level administrative support in a similar position;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Advanced organizational skills and capacity to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality;
- Ability to effectively work in a team within a complex, fast paced environment;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse staff and stakeholders;

PAC Institute of Technology and Social Studies, a constituent college of PAC University formally registered as a Technical and Vocational College is seeking to fill the position outlined below from suitable candidates. Applicants must be born-again Christians and active members of a local Church.

1. Position Title: TVET Trainers (3) (CLOSED)
– Business Department
– Computer Science Department
– Counseling Department

The TVET Trainers will provide competence-based training in diploma [level 6] and certificate [level 5] designed to develop relevant and highly marketable graduates in today’s competitive job market

Qualifications and Core Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Computer Science, Counselling Psychology or related field.
At least two (2) years of professional experience preferably in a TVETA college.
TVETA Training Certification • Trainer Qualifications (Preferably from KSTVET) will be an added advantage
Strong analytical and communication skills.
In depth knowledge of the tertiary training structure and CBET • Exposure to TVET CDACC.

Key Responsibilities

Instruct trainees in the specific course(s)/units in adherence to the respective curriculum and occupational standards;
Plan, conduct and assess practicals in the course units assigned;
Prepare internal assessments, mark, grade, conduct validation and moderation;
Supervise and assess trainee(s) in the course area and during industrial attachment;
Maintaining appropriate records required by TVETA and TVET CDACC or any other relevant body including learning, session plans, training notes and records of work;
Any other duty as may be assigned by the Coordinator or Director
