1. Position Title: Personal Assistant – Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs

To provide administrative support to the Deputy Vice Chancellor-Academic Affairs in fulfillment and execution of duties to ensure efficient management of Office. The PA is expected to operate and perform to the highest professional standards, with diversified secretarial and administrative duties using initiative and judgment, high level organizational skills and knowledge.

Minimum Requirements

- An earned Master’s Degree in Administration, Public Relations or any other related field. A Diploma in IT and secretarial studies will be an added advantage;
- At least 5 years professional experience providing high level administrative support in a similar position;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Advanced organizational skills and capacity to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality;
- Ability to effectively work in a team within a complex, fast paced environment;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse staff and stakeholders;

PAC Institute of Technology and Social Studies, a constituent college of PAC University formally registered as a Technical and Vocational College is seeking to fill the position outlined below from suitable candidates. Applicants must be born-again Christians and active members of a local Church.

1. Position Title: TVET Trainers (3) (OPEN)
– Business Department
– Computer Science Department
– Counseling Department

The TVET Trainers will provide competence-based training in diploma [level 6] and certificate [level 5] designed to develop relevant and highly marketable graduates in today’s competitive job market

Qualifications and Core Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Computer Science, Counselling Psychology or related field.
At least two (2) years of professional experience preferably in a TVETA college.
TVETA Training Certification • Trainer Qualifications (Preferably from KSTVET) will be an added advantage
Strong analytical and communication skills.
In depth knowledge of the tertiary training structure and CBET • Exposure to TVET CDACC.

Key Responsibilities

Instruct trainees in the specific course(s)/units in adherence to the respective curriculum and occupational standards;
Plan, conduct and assess practicals in the course units assigned;
Prepare internal assessments, mark, grade, conduct validation and moderation;
Supervise and assess trainee(s) in the course area and during industrial attachment;
Maintaining appropriate records required by TVETA and TVET CDACC or any other relevant body including learning, session plans, training notes and records of work;
Any other duty as may be assigned by the Coordinator or Director

To provide library administrative and technical support as well as security of library resources.

Qualifications and Core Skills

- Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or related field.
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience at the University level.

Key Responsibilities

- Direct and supervise the operations of the library circulation and technical services staff.
- Responsible for all cataloging functions in the library.
- Maintain statistics and prepare reports related to cataloging and processing of materials.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of bibliographic and authority records on the online catalog.
- Collaborate with other library staff members in developing online learning tools to promote information literacy skills.

1. Job Title: General Manager – Evangel Publishing House (CLOSED)

We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and results-driven General Manager to take charge of our publishing house overall business operations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, drive sales growth, enhance operational efficiency, and manage stakeholder relationships to drive the company’s vision and profitability. The position reports to the Vice Chancellor.

Qualifications and Core Skills

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Publishing, or related social sciences.
- A Master’s degree (MBA) is an added advantage.
- At least ten (10) years of professional experience, with at least 5 years at a senior management level, preferably in the publishing or printing industry.
- In-depth understanding of the Kenyan book market, educational curriculum, and digital publishing trends.
- Strong financial acumen, exceptional leadership abilities, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of emerging global trends in digital education. Strong strategic leadership and organizational skills.
- Effective team leadership and capacity building skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Direction: Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term strategies, business plans, and annual operating budgets.
Operational Management: Oversee daily publishing operations, including editorial, production, sales, and logistics.
Sales & Marketing Growth: Drive revenue growth by initiating innovative marketing strategies, expanding product base, and increasing digital distribution.
Financial Control: Manage the P&L (Profit and Loss), optimize resources, and ensure sustainable financial health.
Stakeholder Relations: Build strong, productive relationships with authors, distributors, the Ministry of Education (for educational publishers), and other stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve KPIs and foster a culture of excellence.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, copyright laws, and industry standards.
