Introduction

This program is designed to develop and equip biblically and theologically sound scholars with the relevant skills and competencies to effectively serve God in the context of the Church and community.

Core Objectives 

By the end of this course the learner should be:

  1. Skilled in the practical exegesis of the biblical text, using the range of contributory disciplines, methodologies and resource materials.
  2. Able to innovate and develop ministries that will address the needs of the community in which graduates are called to serve.
  3. Able to demonstrate awareness and appreciation of disciplines of study that prepare the person to serve society and the world.

Entry Requirements

Minimum of KCSE Grade C+ (plus) or its equivalent or C plain with Pre-University Certificate or Relevant Diploma from a recognized institution or mature age entry

Specializations

A student may specialize in any of the following

  1. Biblical Studies
  2. Pastoral studies
  3. Christian education
  4. Mission studies
