The University hosted a team from NACOSTI, who visited the Thika Road Campus on December 13 to evaluate the Ethics Review Committee. They commended the Committee for going through the accreditation process, which involves developing policies and SOPs to guide its functions.

Speaking after the review process, Dr. Jane Kinuthia, the Director for Research, said that the Committee will strive to implement NACOSTI’s recommendations in order to have a fully accredited Institutional Scientific Ethics Review Committee (ISERC) in accordance with Kenyan research laws.
