After a 10-day end-of-year break, the University reopened its doors on Tuesday, January 2, when normal operations resumed. It closed on December 22, 2023, to allow staff members to join their families and friends for the Christmas and New Year festivities.

However, there will be another two-day break on January 4 and 5, when staff are scheduled to attend a work retreat at a Nairobi hotel. During this time, offices will remain closed until Monday, January 8.
