On Friday 11th March, the Department of Community Development in collaboration with Hindustan College of Arts and Science held a successful international webinar on child protection. The webinar attracted participants from India, Hong Kong, Tanzania, Nigeria, Greece, Kenya, and the Philippines. The issue of child protection was flagged as a matter of global concern, and various intervention measures were presented. The University was well represented by members of the Department including Ms. Mary Maseno (HOD) who moderated the webinar, and Dr. Wilkins Muhingi who was one of the speakers.
