On 23rd September 2026, the Director Quality Assurance hosted a training for faculty and staff on Competency-Based Education Design (CBED).

The session focused on strengthening quality, competence, and excellence in our program development.

It equipped participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to develop, implement, and evaluate quality-assured competency-based programs.

As higher education continues to evolve, strengthening institutional capacity in curriculum design remains essential. Quality assurance strengthens the ability to ensure that academic programs respond effectively to changing educational and professional needs.

The training also created an opportunity for faculty and staff to engage with quality assurance practices. It encouraged exploring approaches that strengthen the design and delivery of our programs across the University, supporting competency-based education design.
