A new season begun at PAC University as we officially launched the 2026/2027 Academic Year and because it was the beginning of our September – December Intake, the Matriculation Ceremony was equally important.

Held on 16th September 2026, the occasion commenced with the welcoming of new students into the community, setting the tone for a year focused on learning, innovation, research and transformation.

However, this was not all, the energy remained unmatched as our Chancellor, Bishop Dr. Calisto Odede, unveiled the Smart Classrooms, a step towards more technology-enabled and interactive learning.

The speeches paved the way for the moment we had all been waiting for, the launch. Our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dionysious Kiambi, led the launch moment of the 2024–2026 Research Report and the Research Journals, reaffirming PAC University’s commitment to advancing knowledge and contributing to meaningful conversations in society.

Adding to the excitement was the Innovation Hub, designed to provide a space for ideas, creativity, collaboration and practical solutions to emerging challenges. This segment provided our students with a moment to showcase their inventions.

The long-awaited highlight of the day was witnessed as the Chancellor alongside the Members of the Board of Trustees and Governing Council, the Vice Chancellor and DVC–Academic Affairs, Prof. Chemorion, launched the 2026/2027 New Academic Year under the theme “Empowered for Growth”, an amazing moment witnessed by faculty, Staff and Students.

Together, these initiatives reflect how PAC University is moving forward with purpose—creating an environment where students and faculty are empowered to learn, innovate, grow and make an impact.

As the New Academic Year begins, we embrace a new season with renewed energy and a clear commitment to growth through action.
