On September 14th, the Chancellor, Bishop Calisto Odede, formally launched the new academic year 2022-2023 at the Thika Road Campus in a historic event that was the first of its kind at the University. The University community, including members of the Board of Trustees and the Governing Council, as well as faculty, staff, and students, gathered to witness this historic occasion, which marked the beginning of a new tradition that will be observed at the start of each academic year.

In his address, the Chancellor encouraged the University community to join hands and work together for the common good of the University, in keeping with the year’s theme, United in Purpose.
