School of Theology Holds a Chaplaincy Training for Prisons Staff
The School of Theology co-hosted a 4-day retooling training for teachers from the State Department for Correctional Services (Prisons) from 20th to 24th August at CITAM Valley Road.
This was done in collaboration with the CITAM Chaplaincy Department, The Tree of Life and the State Department for Correctional Services. Dr. Joshua Rutere, a faculty member at the School, represented the University in organizing and facilitating the training.
The Vice Chancellor officially opened the training at a ceremony attended by Bishop Jesse Mugambi, Deputy Presiding Bishop of CITAM, and representatives from the State Department of Correctional Services.
