Job Title: Senior Lecturer, Lecturer and Tutorial Fellows   

The purpose of these jobs is to strengthen academic leadership and innovation in the Department of Leadership, Department of Computing and IT and the Department of Psychology. All suitable applicants must understand and be willing to adhere to the PAC University’s Statement of Faith:

a. Minimum Requirements for Senior Lecturer:

An applicant must possess an earned PhD degree in the area of Organizational or Educational Leadership or any other Leadership related discipline with expertise in Leadership and Management.

In Addition to the above, applicants must have the following:

  • - Have at least 3 (three) years teaching experience as a Lecturer at the University level in the relevant area;
  • - Have substantial experience in developing Academic programmes;
  • - Have successfully supervised at least three (3) postgraduate students to completion since being appointed a lecturer;
  • - A minimum of thirty two (32) publication points as a lecturer of which at least twenty four (24) should be from refereed scholarly journals;
  • - Evidence of active participation in departmental activities and good quality teaching;
  •  -Evidence of ability to attract research funding is an added advantage.

    b. Minimum Requirements for Lecturers (Leadership & Psychology):

An applicant must possess an earned PhD degree with expertise in the area of

  1. Department of Leadership - Organizational Leadership or any other Leadership related discipline.
  2. Department of Psychology in the area of Psychology preferably with expertise in Marriage and Family Therapy.

In Addition to the above, applicants must have the following:

  • - Evidence of research and publications; at least two (2) articles in refereed journals (minimum of 24 publication points);
  • - Evidence of active participation in departmental activities and good quality teaching;
  • - Evidence of ability to attract research funding is an added advantage.

    c. Minimum Requirements for Tutorial Fellows (Leadership & Computing and IT):

An applicant must have registered and is in progress with PhD in either of the following areas:

  1. Department of Leadership- Ongoing PhD in Organizational Leadership or any other Leadership related discipline.               
  2. Department of Computing and IT - Ongoing PhD in IT or any other Computing related discipline
