The immediate former Chancellor of the University, Bishop Emeritus Dr. David Oginde, launched this academic year’s theme, “United in Purpose,” in a vibrant Chapel Service at the Thika Road campus on September 27th, 2022. In his sermon, Dr. Oginde encouraged the University community to remain united in promoting what is right and acceptable in God’s eyes, rather than what is simply popular. This year’s theme is drawn from Nehemiah 2:18 (“…Let us arise and build…”). The service was attended by members of the University community, including faculty and students.
