Public Lecture: Geo-Politics, Leadership and Resource Development in Africa
The University hosted a public lecture on Geo-Politics, Leadership and Resource Development in Africa on 7th October 2026, featuring Israel’s Deputy Ambassador to Kenya as the keynote speaker.
After Deputy Ambassador Ariel Arviv gave her remarks, scholars, leaders, and participants engaged in discussions on the interplay between geopolitics, leadership, and Africa’s vast resource potential.
In the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dionysious Kiambi, the session provided a platform to examine Africa and the Middle East’s development priorities, the role of strategic leadership, and opportunities for sustainable growth.
The discussion highlighted the importance of informed decision-making, effective resource management, and international collaboration in addressing the continent’s development challenges and unlocking its potential.
It is through such academic engagements that the University continues to foster dialogue, broaden perspectives, and equip students with insights into issues shaping Africa’s leadership and development landscape.
