Following her selection as one of the twenty Youth Fellows representing Kenyan youth at the African United Nations Youth Delegates and Representatives Programme, the Chair of the University’s Student Council, Ms. Lindah Akitela, was feted further by being selected as one of the two Kenyan Youth Representatives at the UN Youth Delegates at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York this September.

Lindah will prepare for the UNGA by attending regional trainings in South Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, and Ethiopia.

She is expected to bring valuable insights into youth affairs and articulate issues facing Kenyan youth.
