Team From CONEXA Visits The University
On July 3, the Psychology Department hosted a delegation from CONEXA, an international body that accredits Emotional Focus Therapists (EFT) around the world, at the Thika Road campus.
They facilitated a seminar for faculty and postgraduate students in the Psychology Department on how to apply the EFT model when working with clients who have attachment injuries and trauma.
Aside from that, the delegation paid a courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dionysious Kihika Kiambi, and donated books on Emotional Focus Therapy.
Their visit and seminar facilitation was a significant step forward as the Department seeks to achieve EFT accreditation.
