University holds a thanksgiving ceremony for Prof. Muthwii

On February 6, the University community had a great time of celebration at the Thanksgiving Ceremony held in honour of the University’s immediate former Vice Chancellor, Prof. Margaret J. Muthwii. The event, which was filled with pomp and colour, saw the attendees reminisce about Prof. Muthwii’s journey at the University and celebrate her many outstanding achievements.

Representatives of various stakeholder categories delivered well-thought-out farewell remarks, much to the delight of Prof. Muthwii. They included the Chancellor, Bishop Calisto Odede, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Ezekiel Wafula, and Deputy Chair of the Governing Council, Prof. Jane Mutiga, among others.

Prof. Muthwii, who was accompanied by her husband, Prof. Samson Muthwii, expressed her joy and gratitude for the immense support she received from the University community during her tenure.
