The University’s staff members and students were among the hundreds of mourners who attended Dr. Rahab Nyaga’s burial at Kirimari village in Embu County on 26th January 2022. The journey to her final resting place started at the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital morgue from where the cortege made its way to ACK All Saints Kiritiri Church for burial service. Among those who attended included members of the University’s Governing Council and the Chancellor, Bishop Calisto Odede. Until her demise, Dr. Nyaga was a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication, Languages & Linguistics. She had previously served as Academic Dean and also Head of the Department of Communication, Languages & Linguistics.
