Health and Fitness Week
The University's Annual Health and Fitness Week will be happening from 25th to 30th October 2021. During this time, staff members and students participate in activities that promote health and fitness such as long walks, games, aerobics, and health check-ups. Our student body, through PACUSA, are the primary organizers.
Pastors and Leaders Training
The University, through the School of Theology, partnered with the TuneDem Foundation on 7th and 8th October 2021 to train Pastors and Leaders at KAG, Olympic Kibera. The two-day training culminated with the awarding of Certificates to the participants.
Academic Program Leaders Appointed
On Friday 17th September 2021, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Margaret J. Muthwii, formally appointed the Academic Program Leaders for all programs on offer as proposed by the Senate. The move is in accordance with the CUE Standards and Guidelines. The leaders will fully support the students pursuing these programs to ensure that they have a seamless academic experience.
International Students Hosted to Lunch by the VC
On Thursday 16th September, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Margaret J. Muthwii, hosted representatives of international students who are currently residing on campus to lunch. Students from 11 nationalities namely Rwanda, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Uganda, South Korea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Nigeria, Burundi, Sierra Leone, and South Sudan attended.
University Receives Blackmagic Studio Cameras 4k Pro
The University made history on Wednesday September 8 2021 by becoming the first institution in Africa to receive the Blackmagic Studio Cameras 4k Pro. This was a big boost to the University’s quest to utilize technology in offering high-quality practical education.
