James Munene holds a Master of Science Degree in Information Systems and a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology. He is the current CEO of ICT Mentors Solution Ltd.

James is a member of CITAM Thika Road where he serves as a member of the Advisory Committee. He is also the Chairperson of the ICT Committee of the Deacons Board of CITAM.

In addition, James is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Strategic Fellowship for High Schools Ministries (SFHM), a Trustee at the Commissioner For Christ Ministry, and a Board member at Gatwe Secondary School.

He is married to Margaret Wanjiru, and they are blessed with four children.
