Introduction
This program equips graduates with sufficient knowledge and skills in Business Management and Information Technology. It combines the key aspects of Information Technology (covering areas such as software development, communications and networking, security, systems analysis, databases, etc.) with the key facets of business such as accounting, operations management, organizational behavior, marketing, etc. This combination of skills and knowledge equips graduates to be immediately productive in the modern business environment. It is aims at preparing students for work in the fields of software development, database administration and networking.

The course is structured to focus on issues surrounding the strategic use, development, implementation and management of computer systems.  It involves creating critical awareness of the need to align Information Systems and Information Technology with an organisation’s long-term business strategies. Courses in humanities and ethics are included to address the need for a wider consideration of issues in business decision-making.  The curriculum will provide training for individuals interested in pursuing careers in business management and those interested in pursuing graduate or professional degrees. Candidates will be prepared to work as project managers, system designers, information systems developers; all pertaining to business management.

Admission Requirements
1. KCSE mean grade of C+ and above (with a C+ in Mathematics) or its equivalence
2. Be a Diploma holder from a recognized learning institution
