This course is designed to equip youth workers to holistically understand the young people and effectively minister and work with them at their formative stage. It inculcates skills that enable them develop youth-driven programs for the transformation of young people.

Core Objectives

By end of the course the learner should be able to

• Skilfully interpret Scripture using hermeneutical principles and ably pass that message to the target audience
• Demonstrate practical love and passion for young people
• Offer holistic ministry to youth with sensitivity to their spiritual, physical and social needs, as a strategic way of walking them toward Christian maturity.
• Develop basic competences and relevant ministry skills, such as preaching, evangelism, counselling, and leadership and management.

KCSE Grade C plain or its equivalent
