Credit Transfer

Students who have previously attended another accredited, post-secondary institution – college or university – may be eligible to transfer credits into the PAC University Program.

Only degree-level work may be considered for transfer credit. A maximum of 66 credit hours of the total requirements (144 credit hours) may be transferred. However, only those subjects that are relevant to the PAC University curriculum will be considered.

Students from institutions that PAC University has a collaborative education partnership with will have their credits transfer considered on the basis of the terms of the partnership.

Process of transferring credits
Applicants who meet the above conditions for credits transfer should pick an application form from the Registrar Academic’s Office, duly fill it in and submit it back with certified copies of their previous program’s transcript for evaluation. A fee of Ksh 2,000 must be paid before submitting the application. 

A fee of Ksh 550 is charged for every credit hour.

The following general rules will apply for transfer or credits:

  • Credits must have been taken from an academically recognized post-secondary institution
  • Only courses with a grade of B (plain) and above will be considered for transfer
  • A student must have scored a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or grade B- and above to be considered for credit transfers

The following post-secondary training can be eligible for transfer of credits:

  1. Diploma Programs
  2. Bachelor’s Degrees
  3. ACCA/CPA/CPS/CFA and other equivalent professional training certificates.

PS: Credit transfers are not applicable for the Master of Arts in Leadership Program.
