Dr. Cavens Kithinji

Dr. Kithinji is the current Head of the Department of Community Development. He holds a Ph.D (2015) in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi where he specialized in M&E. He earned his MA (2008) in the same area and from the same university. He is also a graduate of the Moi University where he earned a Bachelor of Education degree in 1996.

Dr. Kithinji has a wealth of experience in teaching where he has taught for 18 years in various High Schools. He has also taught in various universities for the last five years; among them University of Nairobi, Meru University of Science & Technology, Kenya Methodist University, Mt. Kenya University and now PAC University.

He has consulted with both local and International NGOs in areas of Project Design, Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and team building. He has also developed training manuals and participated in the actual trainings of TOTs in the said areas. He is a researcher and has supervised a number of students to completion.  

Dr. Kithinji is at home where there is a free atmosphere of innovative thinking and service to humanity.
