  • Is PAC chartered?

    • Yes PAC has received its Universtiy Charter from the Kenya Commission for Higher Education, presented by His Excellency, Hon. Mwai Kibaki .

  • What programmes does PAC offer?

    • PAC is currently offering the following academic programmes:

    • Bachelor of Business Leadership

      • The Bachelor of Business Leadership focuses on developing in the student a Christian perspective towards corporate business leadership. The programme combines leadership studies centered on the philosophy of servant leadership with four areas of concentration:

      1. Accounting and Finance
      2. Marketing
      3. Human Resource Management
      4. Business Entrepreneurship

      The course will also prepare students for a Masters level degree in Business Management or in Leadership and other related fields.

    • Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology

      • The Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology provides the student with theoretical and applied training for a church-related vocation. This programme serves students with a call to ministry as pastors, evangelists, missionaries and teachers.

      The degree will prepare students for entry into a Masters level degree in Bible or Theology and other related fields.

      The program has five areas of concentration:

      1. Biblical studies

      2. Translation studies

      3. Missions studies

      4. Pastoral studies

      5. Christian  education

    • Bachelor of Arts in Counselling

      • The B.A. in Counselling is intended for students who desire to serve the Church and community by providing counselling services to individuals, couples, and family relations and counselling ministries, as well as small group facilitation and mediation.

      The degree will prepare students for entry into a Masters level degree in Counselling.

    • Master of Arts in Leadership

      • The Master of Arts in Leadership is aimed at equipping Christian professionals with leadership competence in three specialty areas:

      1. Business and Entrepreneurship
      2. Education
      3. Christian Ministry
    • Youth Discipleship Programme

      • This is a programme specially designed for young people who have completed their high school studies and are waiting for post secondary education in universities and colleges. The programme is aimed at preparing them holistically to confidently face life challenges after high school and to help them mature to adulthood in a godly and responsible manner.

    • Pre-University Certificate  
      This is a one year academic programme for high school graduates who wish to improve their grade to meet the minimum entry qualification for direct entry into a bachelor degree programme at PAC or any other institution. 

      The programme is designed to prepare students for university education and successful living.

      Applicants must have scored a mean grade C plain in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent. Three references are required from Christians of good standing, to enable the University to verify that the applicant meets the personal qualifications.  

         

  1. Does PAC admit non-Christians?

    2. PAC University admits born again Christians only. These are people who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ and confessed that He is Lord and Saviour of their life and the only way for man to be reconciled with God from sin, for everlasting life. Anyone who believes in Jesus is welcome to apply regardless of denomination as long as it is in line with our ‘Statement of Faith’. A copy of the Statement of Faith is available in the application packet or can be read on our website.

  2. What are the entry requirements for PAC Programs?

    3. Bachelors' Degree Qualifications: KCSE C+

    Master of Arts Qualifications: A minimum GPA of 3.0  from a recognized university.

    YDP Qualifications: KCSE or mock exam grace C plain.
    Pre-University Certificate: KCSE Grade C plain

  3. Are there scholarships?

    4. There are minimal scholarship opportunities but one has to raise at least the first year’s fees before one can apply for the scholarship. The scholarships only cover part of the tuition fees.

  4. Do you offer doctoral studies?

    5. PAC does not offer doctoral studies, however there may be a possibility of doing that in future.

  5. When was PAC established?

    6. PAC has been in existence since 1978.

  6. When are your intakes?

    7. Intakes for undergraduate programmes are in September and January.

    Intakes for the Master of Arts in Leadership are in November and June.
    Youth Discipleship Programme are in January only.
